About Boys' SoccerMadison West High School fields five Boy's Soccer teams: two freshman-only teams, two Junior-Varsity teams (Blue and Gold), and one Varsity team. All five teams compete in the Big Eight conference. Open tryouts begin in mid-August (per WIAA rules) and the season runs from late August through October. Home games are played at James Mansfield Stadium at Madison Memorial High School. Madison West has a long and successful history in Boy's soccer. Madison West has appeared in 12 State tournaments and has won three, including back-to-back titles in 1987 and 1988, and has been runner-up twice, in 1986 and 1990. Most recent, Madison West made it to the State Tournament in the 2008 Season.
