About GymnasticsWest High School sponsors a Girls Gymnastics program that is composed of Varsity and Junior Varsity Teams. Both teams compete in the Big Eight Conference as well as non conference meets. In accordance with WIAA rules the gymnastic s season runs from early November to early March. The team practices Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Practice and Home meets are held in the Andringa Field House at Memorial High School. Previous gymnastics experience is not required. Girls may choose which of four events (vaulting, bars, beam, floor) to participate in. |
